Some senior sessions are special because of the milestone they celebrate. Others are special because of the story behind them.

For Paden Wood, it's both.

A senior at Grace Preparatory Academy of New Braunfels, Paden has spent her high school years investing in the things that matter most to her: faith, friendships, service, and making memories along the way.

If you know Paden, you know she loves music. Whether she's discovering new artists, attending concerts, singing with her school choir, or introducing friends to a new favorite artist, music has become one of the threads woven throughout her life. In fact, she jokes that if she could, she'd spend all her money on concert tickets (and maybe a new outfit for the concert). 

Beyond music, Paden's faith plays a central role in her life. Bible study, her relationship with the Lord, and time spent with close friends are some of the things she values most.

During her time at Grace Preparatory Academy, Paden has been actively involved in Student Council and the Environmental Club, serving as President for two years. She was also a member of her school's choir for two years, including an unforgettable opportunity to travel to Walt Disney World Resort, where the choir performed twice during their visit.

Beyond school, Paden works at Confetti and Cream, a local favorite in Bulverde, and spends her summers working at Laity Lodge Youth Camp, which she describes as her favorite place on earth.

One accomplishment she's especially proud of is earning more than 550 volunteer hours throughout her high school years. That level of service reflects her generous heart and willingness to invest in her community, often behind the scenes and without seeking recognition.

After graduation, Paden will begin the Texas A&M PSA Program, attending Tarleton State University for her first year before transferring to Texas A&M University. It's an exciting next step for a young woman who approaches life with both enthusiasm and purpose.

When asked about a favorite song, Paden chose Holy Ground by Taylor Swift—a fitting choice for someone who treasures meaningful experiences and the people who share them.

Her senior portrait sessions were filled with exactly those kinds of moments.

One of her favorite memories from her beach session involved a passing vehicle flying a hilarious flag that had everyone laughing throughout the morning. Those unexpected moments often become some of the most memorable parts of a portrait experience.

For her Encore Session, however, the highlight was getting to include her dog, Cooper.

And perhaps most meaningful of all was the realization that these portraits represent more than just her senior year.

As Paden shared, "Ms. Elizabeth has been photographing our family since before I was born. I feel like she has watched me grow up over the years, which is kind of cool."

It's hard to think of a greater compliment.

Paden, it has been an incredible privilege to watch your journey unfold and to capture these milestones along the way. Your kindness, servant's heart, faith, and joyful spirit will undoubtedly take you far, and we can't wait to see where this next chapter leads.
